Come join Artists Helping Artists (Aha!) http://www.artistshelpingartists.org/ and Peninsula Pulse http://ppulse.net/ for our this special Creative Potluck, Imagination Salon and Drum Party. The event is open to all ARTISTS, DRUMMERS AND PERCUSSIONISTS, INTUITIVES, EDUCATORS, AND GRASSROOTS LEADERS. Open to everyone.

The theme of this event is CREATIVE FIRE! Come join in the rhythm, fun and highly creative atmosphere! Help us toke the creative muse on the Peninsula. You may choose to share your own creative work or projects! Or just come and enjoy and make new friends in the arts and community.

This special event occurs from 3:30pm to 11pm on Saturday February 23, 2008 at the Peninsula Yacht Club at Docktown Marina at 1536 Maple St, Redwood City, CA 94063. Map is here. (DIRECTIONS: Exit Whipple ave, left on Veteran's Blvd, left on Maple St. (near the Big K-mart) go over little bridge, to end of street, boat club entrance is on the left; enter and drive short distance to building with water tower on it.)

SCHEDULE OF CREATIVE ACTIVITIES

3:30 PM -- CREATIVE POTLUCK AND CONNECTING ($5 donation to Aha! WITH a potluck dish to keep the fire stoked!) (Doors open at 3:15 for photographers, painters, visual artists arrive to set out their portfolios or up to three original paintings. If you are bringing originals or prints, there is no need to bring easels, at this event we will simply lean artwork against a wall and you can share about it during the salon portion too. 20% of any sales is donated to Aha! and Peninsula Pulse.) Also songwriters, poets, arrival and share in the

4:30 PM -- IMAGINATION SALON (visual artists, photographers, poets, songwriters, writers, and those with creative community projects may present or perform their work for about 3 to 5 minutes)

7:00 PM-- PULSE PARTY. (This portion is FREE with a potluck dish, otherwise $5 donation to keep the fire stoked and help us start a fund for extra food and supplies.) This is our special drum circle for drummers, percussionists, dancers and other compatiable instrumentalists. If you haven't been to our drum circle yet, come on down and experience it first hand!

Full bar, 3 rooms, working fireplace and kitchen available. Come share in the energy, the dynamics and the fiery muse of spirit and adventure!!!
