Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a leading figure in personal and social transformation whose work has inspired a global phenomenon of compassion and service. His numerous contributions include peace initiatives in Iraq, trauma relief for American veterans, disaster relief in New Orleans, youth leadership programs in New York, and personal development and health programs in over 140 countries. Sri Sri is also the founder of the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association for Human Values; these volunteer-run organizations have improved the quality of life for 30 million people around the world.
Michael Krasny, Ph.D., has interviewed many of the leading newsmakers of our time. He is the host of KQED radio's award-winning Forum, a news and public affairs program that concentrates on the arts, culture, health, business and technology. He has been a professor of English at San Francisco State University since 1970 and is also a widely published scholar and critic.
