Chevron is profiting from the war in Iraq; the company is a primary driver behind the U.S. Government’s campaign to pressure the Iraqi Parliament to privatize the country’s oil fields so companies like Chevron can control and profit from the war. Chevron’s Richmond Refinery processes Iraqi oil and pollutes the surrounding population of poor communities and communities of color.
