Willow Lodge, a facility owned by the CA Department of Fish and Game, operated by the San Joaquin River Parkway & Conservation Trust. Located just north of Fresno. Map will be sent to people who make reservation.

Join us for an evening weaving information about San Joaquin River history with today’s river restoration efforts. Jared Aldern, History Project at Fresno State, will talk about views of the San Joaquin from different cultural perspective throughout history. Randy McFarland will discuss agricultural water history and how the once arid Central Valley became the “garden of eden” it is today. This is the first workshop of a three part series.
