On Monday, January 21st CodePINK is holding this year’s bi-annual tea party, “Fierce Voter Pink Tea Party” at the Redwood Gardens in Berkeley , 2951 Derby St. from 11:00a.m. until 4:00p.m.
Our theme for this year’s Tea Party is “What Have Womyn Done?”
After the ’04 ‘election’ we had a Mad Voter Pink Tea Party; then after ’06, we had a Glad Voter Pink Tea Party.
This year, before the election, in the spirit and honor of Martin Luther King and our Monthly Monday Meet, Eat & Greet (MMMEG), we are inviting you to join us as we review our many accomplishments and highlites of 2007, and create our strategies for ending war, occupation and genocide this coming year of 2008.
We are encouraging organizations and individuals to come and participate – bring your photos, your banners, your props and visuals, along with your brilliant ideas and commitments.
This is a potluck brunch so feel free to bring a dish or drink – as organic, fair trade as possible - to share. We will also have inspiring performances and entertainment!
Please RSVP to 510-524-2776 if you’d like to reserve table space and participate in this awesome “What Have Women Done?” event. Or email info [at] bayareacodepink.org
Together in 2008 we WILL end occupation and genocide!
Peace, What Have Womyn Done? Team
