SUPPORT GI RESISTERS IN CANADA!

VIGIL AND DELEGATION AT SAN FRANCISCO CANADIAN CONSULATE (580 Montgomery St.)

JANUARY 15, 2008

NOON-1 P.M.

• Let Canadian officials know you want their government to allow U.S. GI war resisters to remain in that country.

• Join the thousands of citizens of Canada and the United States have contacted the Canadian government to demand that U.S. servicemen who have gone to Canada rather than fight in Iraq and Afghanistan be allowed to stay.

• Come to a vigil at the Canadian Consulate in San Francisco (580 Montgomery St.) on Friday, January 25, 2008, from noon to 1 PM. While some stand in solidarity outside the consulate, a delegation of concerned citizens, including current and former war resisters, will go in to meet with consular officials and deliver the message that we want the GI resisters who have moved to Canada to be able to stay, rather than be deported and face prosecution and persecution back in the U.S.
