Cuban Revolution & Socialism: Jan. 1, 2008 is the 49th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. It is an evolving socialist revolution that continues to benefit the working and oppressed people of Cuba. Celebrate the revolution and uphold its ideals at the PSL meeting on Jan. 4.
U.S. Aggression Targets Latin America: Storm clouds are brewing over Latin America. Those clouds are U.S. aggression aimed at popular movements throughout the region—from Bolivia to Venezuela to Argentina. The U.S. government is attempting to smear the election of liberal Argentine president Cristina Fernández. Washington is also supporting ruling-class moves to undermine Bolivia's new constitution. And it continues supplying funds to the Venezuelan opposition, while backing Colombia's ultra-militaristic leader. How are the Latin American masses opposing U.S. intervention? What solidarity can workers here offer? "
