Location Details:

Part of the Iraq Moratorium campaign, an escalating monthly series of actions demanding an end to the war. Starting on Friday, September 21 and on the third Friday of every month thereafter, we will take the time to show our President and Congress that our troops must be brought home, now!

We've had great success at reaching commuters on each Iraq Moratorium day, asking them to take the pledge and take action against the war.

This effort requires two people per station (or four where there is also a bus depot) to distribute the leaflets and ribbons between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m.

Let us know if you can leaflet a station near you and we will provide materials.

Local Iraq Moratorium events are organized by these Peninsula and South Bay groups:
American Muslim Voice, Council of Churches of Santa Clara County, Declaration of Peace - San Mateo County, Global Peace Partners, Gold Star Families Speak Out, Green Party - Santa Clara County, Jewish Voice for Peace - South Bay Chapter, Los Altos Voices for Peace, Mountain View Voices for Peace, MoveOn District 14 Council, Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice, Pacifica Peace People, Peace Action of San Mateo County, Peace Umbrella - Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, The Rebuilding Alliance, San Jose Peace Center, South Bay Mobilization, Veterans for Peace, Womens International League for Peace and Freedom - Peninsula Branch
