National Book Award winner Maxine Hong Kingston and ten veterans will read from their book, "Veterans of War, Veterans of Peace" in a benefit for the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. Admission is $20. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. A champagne reception honoring Maxine and the veterans will follow the reading.
