Community Studies Associate Professor Paul Ortiz
Bettina Aptheker is a professor of Feminist Studies at UCSC who has compiled research on issues such as Women's history, African American women's history, and feminist critical race studies. She contributed to the book, Hurricane Katrina: Response and Responsibilities, edited by fellow UCSC professor John Brown Childs.
Paul Ortiz is an associate professor of Community Studies and has done considerable research on such fields as African American history, U.S. social and political history, U.S. South, and of working class history. He also contributed to the volume, Hurricane Katrina: Response and Responsibilities.
