Science Hill Tree-Sit at UCSC

On Science Hill, the site of a proposed Biomedical Sciences Facility, students at UCSC have been occupying the redwood trees since November 7th. The area beneath the trees has been declared an autonomous zone: a space for people to interact freely, share their knowledge and strategize about
alternatives to the trajectory of the Long Range Development Plan.

This Saturday, November 24th, will be a Tree-sit OPEN HOUSE for Santa Cruz residents/community members. We will be introducing ourselves, explaining the issues at hand, and answering any questions. Fun activities for kids and free childcare will be offered.
