Sacramento City College Photography Department Presents Winter Exhibit: 'Eye View: From Grain to Pixel'

On December 7, 2007, the students and faculty of the Sacramento City College Photography Department will present the best work from the fall 2007 semester in an exhibit entitled "Eye View: From Grain to Pixel." The exhibit is open to the public and admission is free.

Black-and-white and color photographs -- both film and digital -- will be displayed. The exhibit will include a juried competition with awards for outstanding photographs in a range of categories.

The exhibit will run from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 3rd Floor of Rodda North at SCC's main campus, located at 3835 Freeport Blvd. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. at the same location.

Alumni of the SCC photography program have established successful photographic careers throughout the world and include many prestigious award winners, such as Ron Edmonds, who received a Pulitzer Prize in 1982 for his images of the assassination attempt on President Reagan.
