Part of the Iraq Moratorium campaign, an escalating monthly series of actions demanding an end to the war. Starting on Friday, September 21 and on the third Friday of every month thereafter, we will take the time to show our President and Congress that our troops must be brought home, now!
We've had great success at reaching morning commuters on the first two Iraq Moratorium days, asking them to take the pledge and take action against the war. This month we'll be expanding our efforts again, extending our efforts from San Jose to San Francisco.
This effort requires two people (or four where there is also a bus depot) to distribute the leaflets and ribbons between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m.
Stations covered or partially covered so far:
San Jose Diridon
Cupertino
Mountain View
MV - San Antonio
PA - California Ave
Palo Alto
Menlo Park
Redwood City
San Carlos
Belmont
Hillsdale
San Mateo
Burlingame
Millbrae
We'd especially like to get folks to do Santa Clara and Sunnyvale as well! For station addresses, visit http://www.caltrain.com/caltrain_station_list.html
Let us know if you can leaflet a station near you. Please call Elaine at (650) 796-5866 or email her at eephoebe [at] hotmail.com
