Victims of Violence at LRDP Resistance Protest
Photographs of people victimized by police brutality during the protest against UCSC's Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) on November 7th. The first nine photos show the eyes of people attacked with pepper spray. The tenth image is of the bloody gash on top of a young women's head who reports she was tackled by at least one cop. She suffered a concussion from the incident. The last four photos are banners from the rally and march.
You may remember the October 18th, 2006 protest against the UC Regents:

These people who stood up to police repression, to Corporate UC Expansion, are not victims. These people who were pepper-sprayed, tackled, beaten, are not victims. They should not be pittied; if anything they should be respected, and emulated. They serve as a shining example of how to meet police repression: Head-On. Not Victims, but Role Models, are the brave men and women (and Trannies!) who stood on the front lines, and fought back against repression.
point well taken. i did not mean to imply that these folks, myself included, should be pitied. the title of the post was stolen from josh, by the way, from when he posted similar photos from the protest against the UC Regents in Oct. 06. we should also be careful not to think of these folks as some type of 'martyr' because they were (can i say 'brutalized'?) by the police. in my case, i was just taking photos... which i obviously think is important ;-)
mad love for all trannies and everyone else who is not intimidated by the UC's "free speech" bullshit propaganda!
¡adelante compañeros, la lucha sigue!

Keep fighting the police state in all its forms.

What a bunch of over- armed gutless weenies pepper spraying unarmed young women. I bet they think theyre real warriors. I'ts not natural for bunches of people to dress alike (soldiers and cops). I guess they have to, since human clones havent been invented yet.
