Call in to pressure UCSC and police to respect protesters and students
If you can't make it to the campus you can still help pressure UCSC to not maltreat protesters and students.
Call out to UCSC alumni and anyone concerned about the fate of the redwood forest and biomedical research at UCSC:
If you have been following the events of the Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) at The University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) and are concerned by the actions of law enforcement officials against protesters/students, please call the UCSC Police Department and Public Information Office to let them know that you will not tolerate excessive police violence. For those who cannot come to show support and solidarity by their physical presence, making these phone calls is a great way to let the university know that you are watching and willing to take an active role in preventing irresponsible and aggressive actions of UCSC and police officers on protesters, students or bystanders. If you are a current student or an alumnus, let them know.
