CODEPINK Brought Waterboarding to Feinstein's House this Afternoon; More Actions Needed?
Channel 5 was there and should be showing it 5:30-6 or 6:30 - 7 pm. Her vote should be reversed. Perhaps letting people experience waterboarding will help them understand if it is torture.

CODEPINK BRINGS TORTURE TO SENATOR FEINSTEIN'S S.F. COURTYARD
In support of other Codepink, Women for Peace, actions on the East and West coast this week,
Codepink will bring a "simulated" Waterboarding device to Senator Feinstein's home today in an effort to
"debrief" the Congress and the public about the practice of waterboarding as an interrogation method.
"TORTURE IS TORTURE IS TORTURE IS TORTURE", exclaims CodePink member, Toby Blome.
"It's really not that complicated." Visitors will be invited to try out the device in order to decide for
themselves if waterboarding is torture. In the demonstration the victim can stop the procedure at any time.
In the U.S. practice of this technique, the victim is not afforded that luxury.
All press are encouraged to try it out. Out ultimate goal is to persuade Senator Dianne Feinstein to change her
position and vote NO on the nomination of Michael Mukasey for U.S. Attorney General. Michael Mukasey
would not say before the Senate whether waterboarding was a form of torture.
WHEN: Today, November 4, 11am-3pm.
WHERE: Senator Feinstein's Pacific Heights home: 2460 Lyon St., at the corner of Lyon and Vallejo.
WHAT: Waterboarding demo, open to anyone daring to try.
Giant Pink Slip to be unfolded in the public courtyard: ("Pink Slip Feinstein for Supporting Torture").
Petitions, Signs, Songs, and Chanting:
Senator Feinstein: JUST SAY NO TO TORTURE AND VOTE NO FOR MUKASEY!
Cindy Sheehan expected to arrive at 2pm to support action.
TORTURE IS TORTURE IS TORTURE ACTION
Senator Feinstein came out publicly Friday to say she would vote yes for Mukasey for Attorney General, a man who refuses
declare water-boarding (simulated drowning) a form of torture. The Senate judiciary committee vote is this Tuesday. If the democrats on the
committee hold their ground and all vote no for Mukasey, they could keep the confirmation vote from going to the entire Senate, where Mukasey's
nomination is expected to easily be supported. We must let Feinstein know how we feel. (Read the NY times article and democrats.com info below)
