It Ain't Just Water!
We're talking: Poison, Racism, Classism,Planetary Health, Resource Waste, and Corporate Usurping of a Human Right......
WILPF's November General Meeting, 7 P.M on Tuesday the 20th at the Friend's Meeting House will be concentrated on WILPF's world wide efforts to maintain water as a human right, not a commodity. Nancy Price, an experienced expert water issue speaker and a member of the US WILPF Water Campaign Leadership Team, will be with us for an update of what is happening nationally. Learn what our local councils and supervisors are up to with water thanks to our local committee. Video presentations discussing water supplies, thefts and the often forgotten concept of the Commons will be shown. In addition there will be activities preparing all of us to be agents of awarenesss and effective teachers when it comes to this life essential vital substance. Learn how to easily spread 'the message' in practical ways.
Come and bring a friend or neighbor. This is a universal winnable struggle!
