As marchers streamed down Market Street – the main thoroughfare through the heart of the city – the entire march staged a massive die-in. Block after block was full of protesters lying in the street to bring home the 2 million Iraqis who have died, the 500,000 who are now refugees and the nearly 4,000 U.S. soldiers who have died in the war.
