THE SAN FRANCISCO CHAMBER ORCHESTRA ANNOUNCES A FREE FAMILY CONCERT: MEET THE COMPOSERS: MR BACH, MR. MOZART AND MR. ALDAG
This family friendly program makes a perfect introduction to classical music for your child, spouse, friend, neighbor, or grandmother. Our one-hour programs are designed with the young listener in mind... but we don’t mind bigger people too!
We travel back in time to meet three of classical music’s greatest composers: fussy old Mr. Bach, joking young Mr. Mozart, moody Mr. Beethoven. And a composer from our time: handsome polite Mr. Aldag. What did Mr. Bach eat for breakfast? Did Mr. Mozart own any dogs? Why does Mr. Beethoven have a trumpet stuck in his ear? All this and much more, plus some wonderful music too!
