Join White House veteran energy policy and global warming expert David Sandalow as he examines how strong political leadership at the highest levels could move the United States away from its oil dependence. Sandalow is a former assistant secretary of state and senior director on the National Security Council staff currently working as a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He will discuss his new book Freedom From Oil, which delves into the many facets of energy policy and notes which political players would need to be involved to explore options, shape solutions and create national policy. His analysis shows possible solutions to this fundamental energy problem while offering a unique window into the White House at work.
