Dangerous dog law, rail board top agenda

A proposed "dangerous dog" law and appointments to the North Coast Railroad Authority top the Marin Board of Supervisors

A public hearing on its draft animal control ordinance is scheduled to start at 10:30.

The supervisors will consider Supervisor Judy Arnold's recommendation that former Novato Mayor Bernie Meyers and Novato businessman Tom McDonald be named as Marin's representatives to the railroad board.

Supervisors will hold closed-door meetings with county lawyers to review Novato's lawsuit against the railroad's plans to reactivate freight service, and Sausalito's lawsuit against plans to turn the Alta Mira Hotel into a treatment center
