Dearest CodePINK Com Madres and Allies:

Please show your solidarity on Iraq Moratorium Friday. We need you to MARCH WITH US locally to help end war and perpetuate peace! Come to the West Oakland BART Station at 2:30 to prepare for our 3:00 march, and join us as we travel from 7th Street to 1111 Broadway in downtown Oakland.

Our goal is to expose APL (American Presidential Lines) as war profiteers and suppliers of war. Join our peaceful protest, ending war and bringing our troops home for once and for all.

Did you know APL ships from Oakland’s very own docks? Let the world know that we disagree with this practice, it’s enabling genocide! We are putting out the call for all non-violent, calm, compassionate folks to gather with us on Friday and be a powerful presence for peace, saving lives, and ending war.

How can you help? Join us! We’ll do street theater to focus attention on war profiteers operating in our midst. Wear fancy dress, military gear, pink, Bush, Rice, or Cheney masks, or something creative of your own choosing. Bring signs, fake money, cigars, martini or champagne glasses.
