Bishop Martyn Minns was the first US Priest to take his congregation to align with the Church of Nigeria under Most Revd Peter Akinola. Since then over 60 other congregations have followed. This is his inaugural visit to the San Francisco Bay Area where he will explore biblical themes that impact contemporary times. You are all invite to join the congregation. all Saints Church of Nigeria is pastored by Venerable Dr. Moses Akinlawon

These people are part of a faction that broke away from the Episcopal Church because a gay priest, V. Gene Robinson, was elected Episcopal Bishop of New Hampshire.
The editors of the indybay calendar need to be more suspicious when something is posted here the politics of which aren't made explicit. This is especially the case when it has to do with religion. (The same applies to vaguely-described events related to Israel/Palestine!)
