Supervisors to consider flood board appointments

Appointments to the county's regional flood control advisory boards and a proposal to hire a company to handle building inspections and janitorial services for public housing will top the Marin Board of Supervisors' agenda Tuesday.

The morning session will start at 10 a.m. in room 322 of the county Civic Center.

The supervisors will consider appointments to flood-control boards in Southern Marin, Rafael Meadows and Ross Valley.

Public housing will be on the agenda at 1:30 p.m.

The county Housing Authority is proposing hiring a private firm to handle all inspections and property maintenance in hopes of saving money.
