Time:
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Event Type:
Vigil/Ritual

Location Details:
This event will take place near the Malcolm X plaza in the grassy quad area at San Francisco State University.

Stand Up and Fight Back!
• An independent and unaffiliated group of concerned students has deemed it necessary to express their sentiments regarding the tragic and unnecessary loss of life that has occurred as a result of September 11th, 2001 and the ensuing direction of American foreign policy in its unjustified “War on Terror.”
• By waging an immoral and bloody war on foreign soil, the government of the United States of America is continuing on a path of naked aggression that justifies actions which serve national interests (i.e. Iraq War, Homeland Security, Immigration Raids).
• The current war in Iraq is endemic of a brutal and intolerable American foreign policy--a policy that harms Americans as well as Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, and all other communities controlled by an unrepresentative and unsympathetic government.
• Empower yourself with knowledge and analyze your surroundings. If interested in participating in further actions we encourage you to sign-up on our mailing list.

This is a non-confrontational event but its message will resound loudly.
