Saint Rita's School in Fairfax celebrates its 50th anniversary at 9 a.m. Wednesday with a celebration at 102 Marinda Drive.
Saint Rita, which has about 170 students, serves preschool kids through eighth grade. It is overseen by the San Francisco Archdiocese of the Catholic Church. The event includes a Mass led by the Rev. George Niederauer.
