The purpose of the salon series is to open a dialogue on the many complex issues surrounding the concept of sustainability. An exploration of problems and solutions is the goal. Presentations will be limited to 30 minutes per speaker on stated topics. The rest of the evening is dedicated to a moderated discussion with the speakers.

Living Ecocity Examples

Ancient Examples (i.e. Kathmandu, Shaban, etc.), Richard Register, Founder of Ecocity Builders. Author of Ecocities: Rebuilding Cities in Balance with Nature.

Modern Examples (i.e. BedZed, BO01, etc.), Scott Fossel, Executive Director of Green Century Institute. Founder and CEO of Lifespace.
