PACKARD ART STUDIO OF LOS ALTOS CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Los Altos, CA, July 31, 2007 – The Packard Art Studio of Los Altos celebrates its 25TH anniversary with an exhibit “Meanings on Art 2007” at the Spur Projects Gallery of Portola Valley located at 888 Portola Road, Portola Valley. Meet the Artists Reception: Thursday, August 23, 6-8 p.m. – valet parking, champagne, and hors d’oeuvres.

Local luminaries include Myrna Mitchner, Isabel Brown, Rita Lonergan, Loreen Bergman, and other members of this distinguished art studio. Member artists include both emerging artists and recognized professionals showcasing original artwork from diverse genres from realism to abstract, still life and more.

This is the 25th anniversary show for the Los Altos studio, led by the widely respected artist and teacher, Jean Packard. Packard says, “A studio should not only be a place to paint art together, but also the place to think together. The 20th century ushered in ‘intellectualism,’ the process of artistic thinking.”

Don’t forget: Thursday, August 23: 6-8pm.

For more information, call Jean Packard at (650) 941-7033.
