SUFFOCATING IRAN FOR "REGIME CHANGE"
A key aspect of the U.S. drive for "regime change" in Iran is
the application of economic power to suffocate Iran
financially. Pressure on Iran through financial institutions
has been a strategy by the imperialist powers for a century.
But Iran's turn away from using the dollar in its oil
transactions has intensified the US hostility and its economic
war against Iran. Here a report on the history and Iran's
struggle to maintain its independence from imperialism.
