FATHERS ARE INVITED: EAST BAY ENVIRONMENTAL BOOK CLUB

Date:
Thursday, July 26, 2007
Time:
3:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Event Type:
Meeting
Organizer/Author:
Philip Krayna
Location Details:
TBD - North Berkeley

Are you a parent, concerned about local or worldwide environmental issues such as global warming, peak oil, urban sprawl, or industrial farming? How do these issues impact the health of our families, and the health of the world environment? What about the effects of globalism, marketing, and technology on the "mental" environment of our children and the larger society?

In September, I am launching a monthly "environmental book club" for East Bay fathers.

The goal is to provide a positive, engaging forum to discuss these issues, share our concerns, and propose solutions. We will not walk away from these meeting feel doom and gloom! Aside from readings, we may also invite authors to speak or watch a documentary together. The structure of this group is still open to suggestions by you and other new members.

If you are interested, I will send you more information. Please email or call:
