BLUE SHIELD! DON’T KILL CYNTHIA CAMPBELL!!
What: Join Cynthia and Allen Campbell as they tour the state to protest against Blue Shield’s unethical cancellation of Cynthia Campbell’s health insurance policy.
Why: Cynthia Campbell, a nurse of 30 years who has paid 30 years of premiums with minimal claims, is getting cancelled from her insurance now that she has cancer. After buying a policy from Blue Cross two years ago, she was cancelled at the end of the year because she had used the policy two times (even though the entire cost of both instances fell within her deductible and Blue Cross didn’t pay a dime). She found a policy with Blue Shield and was soon after diagnosed with cancer. Now her coverage is getting cancelled in a matter of days and she has no where to turn.
