Health Care for All-CA
Meeting: Regular second Wednesday meeting at the
Social Justice Center of Marin, Room 18, 1000 Sir Francis Drake, San
Anselmo. Email me for directions.
Special showing of The OneCareNOW Solution, our 22-minute DVD, at 7 PM for new recruits.
Leafletting: We are continuing to leaflet at all three theaters where SiCKO is playing: The Regency, The Sequoia, and Fairfax. We're virtually out of SiCKO flyers and handing out OneCareNOW flyers while we wait for a new printing. SiCKO is an unparalleled opportunity for us to make new converts to single-payer health care. Thanks to coordinators May Rubin, Esther Riley, and Joan Holtzman (and even me) we've done an impressive job outside theaters of publicizing the California single-payer movement. If you think you might like to take a 40-minute leafletting shift, let meknow. It's theeasiest leafleting that ever was. People grab the flyers out of your hand.
