Who: SwapSF ( http://www.swapsf.com)
What: San Francisco Bookswap
Where: The Phritzery (170-172 Clara St., SF/CA, 94107)
When: Saturday, July 21st, 12-3pm
How Much: $5 with bag of books, $10 without
Why: Once again, SwapSF is offering San Francisco the chance to indulge itself with the things it loves best: drinking and literature. Clean up your shelves and spend an afternoon getting new reads, socializing, & drinking.
How it works: pack and bring a bag of the books that you don't read anymore (no magazines!), and give them to the SwapSF crew. Get your raffle/free drink ticket, and then start browsing our temporary (it's only around for three hours!) bookstore, picking up any and all books that look interesting to you. Keep whatever you're interested in! Coffee is provided by Meth Coffee, and beats are provided by poolboy (4handed/Sol System).
All leftover books will be donated to local schools and charities, including Friends of the Library, an organization that raises funds for Bay Area libraries.
