The Rosecrans Project - "How can we get past war?"
Opening Reception Friday, June 29th, 6-9 pm
Artist's presentation begins at 7 pm
The Rosecrans Project was developed by sculptor Brad Burkhart during visits to the Rosecrans National Military Cemetery, in response to the question "How can we get past war?" It's a presentation of art for the purpose of inspiring creativity and insight into how we can address this important social question. The exhibit will include journal entries from the artist and photos of the military cemetery where the sculptures were developed. At the opening reception, the community will have the chance to collectively choose a name one of the peices in the series. Please spread the word.
On display at Louden Nelson through July 28th, 9am - 9:30 pm, Monday - Saturday
