Amnesty International presents a campaign "Maze of Injustice", a film and a panel of speakers who are human right activists, HR attorneys, and a historian, of Kurdish, Iraqi, Iranian, and Native American descents.
The film Yol (The Way) will be shown. It depicts traditional gender roles prevalent in the Middle Eastern Region. This movie has been shown and acclaimed internationally and in the USA.

Shawbo Ali Rauf 19 years old on May 12th 2007 in Koya: Tortured, hands broken, stoned, and finally shot seven times in the face and head. She was killed by her husband, 3 brothers, mother in law, father in law, and sister in law. Her 9 month old baby girl is missing. Her husband went back to England where he is free!!
