The 5 million people of Denmark have some notable historical achievements thanks to a strong labor movement, including the famous rescue of most Danish Jews from the Holocaust, gay partnership that is almost as good as gay marriage in 1989, and, like the rest of the industrialized world but unlike the US, a national healthcare system guaranteeing healthcare to all who reside in Denmark and the usual high life expectancy and low infant mortality that comes with good healthcare.
