1. IDA Anti-Fur Protest in SF, Friday, 6/15
As part of an International Week of Action against GUESS, Inc., IDA will host a demonstration in San Francisco this Friday to convince the company to stop selling clothes made from the fur of exploited animals. Leading fashion retailers like J.Crew, Jones Apparel, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ann Taylor have all made the compassionate decision to go fur-free -- so what keeps GUESS behind the style curve supporting animal abuse and torture?
IDA's Southern California Campaign Coordinator Bill Dyer will also be attending the upcoming GUESS shareholders meeting, where he will tell GUESS executives and investors that selling fur tarnishes the company's "All-American" image and will cost them business.
IDA's protest will be one of many held by activists around the globe seeking to change GUESS's policy regarding the sale of fur. We hope you will join us at this event.
