San Francisco Bike ride against G8
San Francisco Bike ride against G8
On Friday June 8, 2007, there was a critical mass-style bicycle ride with an anti-G8 theme which initially gathered at Justin Herman plaza, and then proceeded along the Embarcadero, Columbus Avenue, Market Street, Valencia St., and ended at Dolores Park. Everything proceeded peacefully, but there was a large police presence the entire time.

Appearances were made by both Josh Wolf and Gabe Meyers. Gabe was arrested during the 2005 San Francisco G8 protest and charged (and later let go) with felony lynching after dropping a foam sign in the road as a police car drove at high speed towards him. Josh spent a record amount of time in jail for refusing to speak to a grand jury formed to probe the battery of the officer who was driving the vehicle.
