What Peace Could Look Like: Beyond “One State, Two States” for Israel and Palestine
Featuring Speakers:
Mr. Husam El Nounou (Gaza Peace Activist) and
Rabbi Jeremy Milgrom (Jerusalem Peace Activist)
The event is FREE and open to the public. Donations will be requested.
Husam and Jeremy have been passionately and actively committed to nonviolence for more than a generation. They are bridge-builders between the different communities affected by the ongoing conflicts. In Palestine and Israel, Nounou and Milgrom are true “faces of hope.” Visit http://afsc.org/israel-palestine/ to read more profiles of peace as part of the American Friends Service Committee's Faces of Hope campaign supporting nonviolent resistance and refusal in Israel and Palestine.
The “What Peace Could Look Like” speaking tour will raise funds to rebuild the next home in the Rachel Corrie Rebuilding Campaign in northern Gaza, focusing attention on the siege of Gaza and a school for the Jahalin Bedouin in Jerusalem, focusing attention on Israeli plans for removal of their village. Sponsored by American Friends Service Committee, Rebuilding Alliance, and St. John’s Presbyterian Church
