Modern cosmology has inspired a vision of the universe that encompasses vast reaches of time and space. In this illustrated lecture we will explore highlights from this unfolding cosmic story and its relationship to our personal lives. Sponsored by the Concentration in Consciousness, Healing & Ecology at New College of California North Bay, a concentration of the BA Completion degree in Humanities and the MA degree in Humanities and Leadership. The concentration in Consciousness, Healing and Ecology (CHE) integrates, cosmology, deep ecology and consciousness studies drawn from indigenous, spiritual, psychological, ecological and scientific worldviews. This program is for individuals who view the evolution of consciousness as an important and vital part of healing our world, a process that involves the personal and planetary dimensions of being.
