Gloria Velasquez will speak in the Brown Beret general meeting's Each One Teach One session on Thursday, May 3rd, 2007. The meeting will begin at 7:00PM and the speaker will be given the floor at around 8:00PM.

Gloria L. Velasquez is the author of a bilingual collection of poetry titled I Used to Be a Superwoman Chicana and is the creator of the Roosevelt High School Series.

Please join us as we discuss the MayDay actions, the next steps in the movement, and end with the delightful presence of Gloria Velasquez.
