Arcata Encampment Update
Many spent the night in front of city hall.
A group of 50 or so houseless folks and supporters marched down to city hall last night from the encampment site. Many spent the night in front of city hall and remain there still. Two police approached us @ 7:00am and said that as long as we tidied up they didn't have a problem with us being there. We'll see.
A large truckload of supplies and gear was confiscated and is being held at city hall. This is one of the reasons we are now there, occupying the front area.
