MayDay 2007 in Modesto!
In 2006 millions marched through U.S. streets in protest of HR 4437. Our voices were heard; HR 4437 did not survive the Senate. But since that day the government has covertly passed various bills directly associated with HR 4437. And now we have a new bill, the "son of Sensenbrenner," known as the Strive Act, which threatens to do the same things HR 4437 did last year.
We are not going to stand for this any longer! The sleeping giant has awakened, and they cannot put it back to sleep. We are ready to rise up again for May 1, 2007 against race-based laws and all forms of systematic oppression. And this time we will not stop until we are victorious.
