Ethinic Studies Informational

On May 3rd from 6-8pm (Food from 5:30-6pm) at the Oakes Learning Center there will be an informational session on the history and need for Ethnic Studies at UCSC. The event will include speakers and testimonials from Professor Paul Ortiz, SOAR Adviser Sayo Fujioka, Grad student Felice Baker-Kleiven, Alumnus Eden Jequinto, and undergrad students. There will be a Q&A towards the end as well! Free handouts, FREE FOOD, and possibly a movie. It will be a great opportunity to talk about the purpose of Ethnic Studies as well as answer questions about where we (meaning you) are going with this movement.

Ethinic Studies Strategy Session

On May 7th from 7-9pm at the Guzman Lounge there will be a strategy session to get direction from the UCSC community (meaning you) to develop the movement for Ethnic Studies. FREE FOOD!!!
