This event will be a positive display of the benefits of replacing auto use with bicycle use-- as much as each individual can. It is not meant to be a judgement of those who do not use bicycles as transportation. Hopefully we can encourage those who don't to do and those who do to do it more. Gather at 11:00 at the Sea Breeze Market and Deli parking lot at the corner of University and W. Frontage Rd. We'll begin by displaying our banner on the Bicycle/ Pedestrian bridge to the passing traffic below. From there, we will "parade" to the Fourth Street shopping district via bike-friendly streets. Here we can hand out informational flyers etc. Afterward, we can gather and share riding tips, etc. about how we, as bicyclists can do our part to stop global warming.
