We're partying! at Anna's Jazz Island, 2120 Allston Way, Berkeley - one block east of the downtown Berkeley BART
We are in for a VERY special - anything but average - treat Monday, April 16th, 6-10p.m. - the Average Dyke Band is going to be rocking it for CodePINK at Anna's Jazz Island in Berkeley!
We are so very fortunate to have the Average Dyke Band playing at this MMMEG and at such a lovely setting as Anna's. This is our chance to dance the night away under the spell of the Average Dyke Band while helping to support the awesome work of CodePINK: Women for Peace.
And we will be honoring our own Congresswoman Barbara Lee for her yet another courageous and righteous stand for peace when she voted to deny Bush $124 billion more to escalate once again the war against Iraq. She was joined by only 7 other progressive Democrats in NOT buying Bush's war.
Join us at 6:00p.m. Monday, April 16th at Anna's Jazz Island, 2120 Allston Way, Berkeley (one block east of the downtown BART station). $23 donation, more if you can, less if you can't. For tickets and information, call 510-524-2776 or email info [at] bayareacodepink.org.
