An inspiring two-day weekend field immersion workshop with a wholistic ecological approach to identifying and understanding Northern California’s unique climate, weather, soil, landforms, watersheds, and native wildlife. You will:
* Create bioregional maps of your own life-place.
* Explore native habitats that coexist with urban surroundings.
* Undertake new environmental teaching exercises.
* Acquire skills to share with students, colleagues, and friends.
* Engage in restoration activities.
* Obtain indispensable take-home materials
Dates: May 12-13, May 19-20
Sliding scale $35-$75 (limited scholarships and work exchanges available). Price includes workshops and lectures for both days plus project materials.
