Anti-War Bike Ride
3/18/07 Bike Ride Against War in San Francisco
We met at Dolores park at 11:00. It was a beutiful sunny day and we waited for an hour to gather people. We headed out at 12:00. The ride wove through the downtown, fisherman's Warf, Chinatown and South of Market neighborhoods. People seemed in good spirits on the ride and people in cars or on the street were positive if they commented. We didn't have many good signs so many may not have known why we were protesting but we had bright flags and we had fun. About sixty cyclists joined the ride. Near the end we passed people going to the ANSWER March. At some point I joined the march and took some photos there.

nice pix.
nice pix.
thanks for the great photo journalism. I was reading about people not know what was going on due to lack of signs. Consider adding a microphone to the sound system, or a wireless mic to pass around. We do this is LA every first Sunday of the month with the SpokeN'Dissent ride.
