Irish Raging Grannies at Demo
St. Patrick's Day of March 17 hadn't yet ended for these Irishmen who met up with the Raging Grannies at 4th Anniversary Demo March 18
In hopes that we'd meet some charming Irishmen along the march, the Grannies prepared a special sign AND this special song!
The Irish Peacemaker
Tune: The Irish Washerwoman
By Granny Gail Conroy-Sredanovic
We put on our white gloves and pick up our banners
We’re well informed women with pretty good manners
But when we see suffering and cru-el injustice
That’s when you’ll see that we kick up a fuss
We sing out for peace and we sing for war’s ending
Our voices are not always perfectly blending
We trade on our image as credible sages
To bring you a message of peace for our age
