Anti-Iraq War Rally at 16th & Broadway Sacramento
Over 100 concerned citizens gathered at 16th & Broadway in Sacramento on March 17th to mark the 4th anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War and to express their outrage over Congress's failure to stop it.
Emotions ran high among the crowd of demonstrators at 16th & Broadway who gathered on Saturday afternoon to mark the 4th anniversary of the invasion and occupation of Iraq. They included a mixture of anger, sadness, determination and optimism. Comic relief was provided by a young man in a Bush mask and carrying a gas can. Passing motorists were overwhelmingly supportive, as evidenced by their horns, thumbs ups, peace signs and shouts of support.
